MIT's self-driving Robocar

For the most part, my summer is going great!

Ever on the lookout for my next wacky machine I have found a show called ROBOCARS. It's kinda like American Idol for Gurus. It's a challenge where they pit anybody and everybody against each other to come up with the best design for a completely autonomous mission -- in this case a road rally race. It is absolutely mind blowing how they make these cars react to ever changing climates.

Anyway if its too hot outside and you have some time check this show out on the Science Channel (channel 102 on FiOS TV.) It's good for a Guru brain or Brian as the case may be. (Normally I don't advocate TV Watching but this isn't your usual TV fodder.)

This sounds like my kind of show. For some reason I find self-sustaining systems interesting.

This show does sound pretty cool...but I must admit to being more intrigued as to what Brian's "frolicking at the shore" entails...
